Wondering if group coaching is right for you?

This program was created for fiction writers who know they want to finish their book but are having trouble making consistent progress. The ones who are stuck somewhere in the middle and have started to lose momentum—or maybe have completely lost it. But is the problem that you’re no longer interested in writing it…or is it just that it isn’t as easy as it used to be when the idea was fresh and new?

It might be a good fit for you if:

🔲 You keep losing momentum on your manuscript, especially once the initial excitement wears off

🔲 You struggle with consistency, focus or motivation even though you genuinely want to write

🔲 You need external accountability because relying on yourself to create structure isn’t working particularly well

🔲 You’re looking to build community with other writers who are ready to get their books finished, too

🔲 You want expert feedback on your pages and someone to help you troubleshoot problems as they come up

🔲 You’d benefit from a more affordable, community-based alternative to private one-on-one coaching

If that sounds like you, keep reading, because here’s how it works:

You’ll join me and a small cohort of likeminded people for a 12-week program that’s designed to support fiction writers who are facing roadblocks to finishing their books, with accountability, community and expert support along the way.

The details:

When: Sep 21, 2026 to Dec 11, 2026 (12 weeks)

What do you get?

Two one-hour co-writing sessions weekly. Come to one or both; this time is reserved exclusively for writing. They’re regular, dedicated opportunities to show up and work on your book alongside the rest of the group. You’re welcome to set a goal and have your fellow group members cheer you on!

Mondays 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT

Thursdays 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT

Biweekly 90-minute group hotseat coaching and Q&A sessions: Bring your plot hole quagmires, your questions about craft, your struggles with writer’s block or whatever else is on your mind, and the entire group and I will help you sort it out. Each member will have the chance to talk through a challenge, test out a new idea and/or ask questions. Each meeting will start with a discussion on a different topic, with a heavy focus on issues like maintaining motivation, developing your personal accountability style, making sure your writing practise is sustainable, staying focused and organized, banishing overwhelm and more. Topics will be neurodiversity-informed, but suitable for all writers!

Every other Tuesday 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT

A private channel where members can post freely between meetings. I’ll be sharing resources, discussion topics and an egregious number of writing memes. You’ll be able to set your weekly goal, ask questions, share your successes (and your lamentations too; we all have them) and connect with your fellow members. (Pet photos are also always welcome!)

Feedback on 10 pages every four weeks: I’ll provide developmental-edit-level feedback on your pages, including in-line comments on things like plot, characterization, narrative drive and logic, plus a short editorial letter outlining both what’s working and what could be strengthened. This isn’t line editing; the goal is to help you see the bigger-picture strengths and problems in your manuscript while you’re still writing it.

A private 45-minute one-on-one video call after the group program has ended to talk about your progress and make a plan for how you can continue to move forward. This is an AMA-style call, so bring all your final questions!

What’s the cost?

$299/month for three months (total cost: $897)

Billed monthly, or get 5% off for paying the balance in full at registration.

Register before September 12 and I’ll include a 45-minute individual kickoff call so we can talk about your story, your goals, what your biggest challenge is and how you can overcome it so you feel excited about writing again.

How do I register?

Fill out this expression of interest form to get started; it’s just a few short questions so I can understand where you are in your process and any challenges you’re facing.

Or if you have questions and want to talk face-to-face, book a free 30-minute chat and I’ll be happy to answer them! You can also fill out my contact form and I’ll email you back.

FAQ

Who is this group best for?

This group is best for fiction writers who are actively working on a manuscript but aren’t always making consistent progress. You might be stuck, struggling with motivation or focus, overwhelmed by your story or just finding it difficult to maintain a writing routine. It’s also great for writers who want to meet other people and build a supportive community while working on their manuscript. Of course it (hopefully) goes without saying that group members will be respectful toward each other; no discrimination, intolerance or harassment of any kind will be tolerated.

What do you mean by ‘neurodiversity-informed?’

That means I understand and have lived experience with the unique challenges ADHD writers and autistic writers face, and I can tailor my advice specifically for them. ADHD writers and autistic writers will get a lot out of this group program because I know what they’re facing!

How big is the group?

In order to keep it small and give members a better chance to get to know each other, registration will be capped at 10 people. Were you too late to grab a spot? Stay tuned; the program will be running again in the spring! Please fill out the expression of interest form above and you’ll be the first to know when registration opens for the spring session.

Is this a critique group? Do members swap pages?

Not as a part of the group program, no, but members can connect with each other on their own to make private arrangements for swapping pages. Requests for beta readers are welcome, but members are not obligated to volunteer.

What if I decide it isn’t a good fit for me?

If, in the first two weeks, you’re just not feeling it, you can let me know and I’ll refund the balance ($150 if you’re paying monthly, or $710 if you paid in full). After the introductory two weeks, no refunds will be offered.
